Description
Autumn is an amazing part of the year and brings us the balance of light, harvest, Fall colors and cooler days. 🍂 This painting was done using the Shaman ritual of putting intentional energy of gratitude, flight and abundance into its process.
I used pigment and metallic watercolor, gel pen, ink, blessed salt, the essential oil Clove, Palo Santo smoke and incense.
Painted on the corner is a golden Triskele, an ancient symbol dating back as far as 3200 BC on an ancient tomb. In Celtic culture it mainly symbolizes life, death and rebirth, but also signifies the three stages of the sun during the day, the three planes of spirit and the movement of life’s energy cycle. In Fall, the death of leaves, plants and nature, signifies a time coming that life will be still- only to be reborn again in the Spring. The wheel of the Seasons.
On the Blackbirds wing are words in Latin, translated as; “The blackbird is wise, it brings abundance in size, we fly on its wing, with magic we sing” So it is. *Featured In one of the subscription boxes for September.
