Description
This pendant is a symbol found on a number of stone carvings from the Viking period, as well as on jewelry, tapestries and cremation urns. It can represent Odin, and the power of the god to bind and unbind, Valhalla or the different planes of the afterlife.
It is made of lead-free pewter and Its name comes from old Norse valr (slain warriors) + knut (knot), and is the modern term for this symbol. Handmade in Scotland, it has the mark of the smith in Futhark Runes on the back. Dimensions: 31 mm x 31 mm and comes with a faux leather cord at 20" long.
